Novia launches duo of smart beta portfolios for UK advisers

Novia is to launch two smart beta ETF portfolios through its Copia discretionary fund manager service.

The platform provider has partnered with US ETF specialist First Trust Advisors and US-based momentum strategists Dorsey, Wright & Associates to create the portfolios. They will be available from Monday, 14 March and have a risk rating of 10 for adventurous investors. The Copia First Trust Smart Beta portfolio is made up of FTA's AlphaDEX® smart beta ETFs. These use the AlphaDEX® methodology, which selects and weights stocks based on investment merit, as opposed to size.
