Sanlam FOUR launches UK Income fund for manager trio

Sanlam FOUR has launched a UK Income Opportunities fund for Alex Schlich (pictured), Chris Rodgers and Tom Carroll.

While meeting the requirements of the UK Equity Income sector to yield 10% in excess of the FTSE All Share, the focus of the new multi-cap fund will be on stocks which have the potential to grow their dividends from a strong base level. This is opposed to those stocks which might offer a higher starting yield, but might be less likely to grow dividends. Its investment universe will consist of all companies with a market cap in excess of £100m, yielding at least 80% of the FTSE All Share.
