OMGI creates Edinburgh base for Oxley's team

Old Mutual Global Investors is to open its first Scotland office in Edinburgh as a new home for Russ Oxley and his fixed income team.

The firm is setting up shop in an office building in Charlotte Square, home to other asset managers such as Cornelian and Ruffer. Former Ignis manager Russ Oxley (pictured) and his rates and liability and driven-investment team will be based in the new building, as well as Allan MacLeod, head of international distribution. The opening will allow Oxley and his team, who joined OMGI from Glasgow-based Ignis in October, to work in dual locations, Edinburgh and London.
