Parmenion launches active/passive blend portfolio

Parmenion Capital Partners will unveil a new product which will blend both active and passive investments according to market conditions.

The product will be called the Conviction Solution and will be launched this September in response to clients torn between choosing active or passive investments. Simon Brett, chief investment officer at Parmenion, said the firm was regularly asked by clients if they should opt for active or passive investments as the volume of passive funds in the market grows and active fund managers come under pressure to justify fees.  Could the passives tide turn?
