Liontrust becomes Oxford United FC shirt sponsor

Liontrust has agreed a three-year deal with Oxford United football club which will see it become the main sponsor of the League Two side.

The fund group, which reported a quarterly net outflow of £7m yesterday after what chief executive John Ions described as a "period of great uncertainty", will feature on the club's home and away shirts from the 2015/16 season onwards. The principal sponsor role will also see the asset manager support "a wide range of community initiatives" via the Oxford United Community Trust.
