Mirabaud AM strengthens European equities team

Mirabaud Asset Management has expanded its European desk with the appointment of a Spanish equities specialist.

Emilio Barberá (pictured) joins the firm as senior portfolio manager and analyst covering Spanish equities. He joins from Inverseguros in Madrid where he was responsible, for a Spanish equity fund, and actively involved in the management of various European funds. Mirabaud said its single country European equity funds are gaining traction, with the Mirabaud - Equities Spain fund now standing at €120m in size. Barberá will act as the deputy portfolio manager for the Equities Spain fund and an analyst on Spanish equities, while Gemma Hurtado San Leandro will remain the lead portfoli...
