Wealth manager 'dating' site secures £500k in extra funding

A firm matching high net worth individuals with wealth managers has received £500,000 funding for expansion into Asia from angel investors.

Findawealthmanager.com was launched by former private banker Dominic Gamble and investment banker Lee Goggin in 2012 after they noticed a lack of guidance online for finding a wealth manager. There are almost 40 wealth management firms on the site. Investors, who range from those with £50,000 in assets to more than £50m, are matched with firms based on their needs and preferences.
