Marlborough to rebrand funds under multi-cap name

Marlborough Fund Managers is to overhaul its US equity fund and rename its European equity offering to emphasise its focus on multi-cap investing.

The group is proposing to rebrand its North American trust as the Marlborough US Multi-Cap Income fund as of 1 August, bringing the fund in line with its successful UK-focused Multi Cap Income fund. The change, subject to a vote by unitholders on 31 July, will see the fund’s investment objective switch from a focus on capital growth to an aim of achieving an increasing income with the potential for some capital appreciation.
