Ex-New Star bond manager Roantree joins Morningstar

Former New Star bond manager Phil Roantree has joined Morningstar as a fixed income investment analyst.

Roantree joins from Querns Asset Managers, a boutique firm he founded with former New Star colleague Stephen Whittaker. He previously managed the New Star Sterling Bond unit trust for 15 years, including at Aberdeen, before the New Star's demise in 2009.
