Romer-Lee builds consultancy business with two new hires

Richard Romer-Lee has made two more appointments to his new consultancy firm Square Mile Investment Research.

Jason Broomer has joined the firm as head of investment from Butterfield Bank in Bermuda and Marianne Weller has moved from Morningstar OBSR for the role of fixed income analyst. The new appointments follow a week after former Threadneedle CIO, CEO and chairman Simon Davies joined the consultancy as founding investor and chairman. Broomer's role will be to build the research capability of the firm, and he will also be responsible for portfolio construction, fund manager selection and the blending of funds to meet individual client requirements.
