Plackett's three bright spots for equities

BlackRock's veteran equity investor Richard Plackett has outlined three key areas of opportunity which could benefit small and mid caps, against a backdrop of improving economic growth.

The co-manager of the £1.9bn BlackRock UK Special Situations fund, which invests across the market-cap scale, said the beginning of the end of US QE is a strong signal the global recovery is beginning to gather momentum.
