Ex-Investec manager Waghorn joins Guinness

Former Investec energy portfolio manager Jonathan Waghorn has joined Guinness Asset Management.

Waghorn is known for his tenure at Investec AM with co-manager Mark Lacey, where the pair succeeded Tim Guinness in managing the Investec Global Energy fund.  The pair (pictured) left to join commodities trader Mercuria Global Energy Solutions, and this week it was announced Lacey is to join Schroders to co-manage its energy portfolios. Waghorn will now reunite with Guinness and existing portfolio manager Will Riley to manage the Guinness Global Energy fund.
