Christopher Rokos, co-founder of hedge fund giant Brevan Howard, is leaving the company.
He has announced he will retire as partner at the company, one of the world's biggest hedge funds, at the end of August, the Times reports. The senior interest rate and volatility derivatives trader has worked for more than a decade with fellow co-founder Alan Howard and is one of the best performers on the firm's $25bn Master Fund. Nagi Kawkabani, a partner at Brevan Howard, which is based in Britain and Switzerland and manages assets of more than $36bn, said Rokos's departure was "very amicable".
