FOUR Capital targets 8% real return with global equity offering

FOUR Capital Partners is to expand its product range with the launch of a low volatility global equity fund this September.

The new strategy, FOUR Stable Global, will be managed FOUR's global team, headed by Colin McQueen, and will be available to both retail and institutional investors from next month. McQueen, who join the boutique in October 2010, was formerly head of global value equities at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He said the fund will aim to deliver returns of around 6% above CPI as well as much lower volatility than the wider market. To achieve a low level of volatility the fund will invest in robust businesses with low cyclicality, low capital requirements and strong balance sheets...
