Schroders launches three EM debt funds

Schroders has launched three emerging market debt funds to be managed by recently recruited co-heads of fixed income James Barrineau and Rajeev de Mello.

The group has launched the SISF Emerging Markets Bond and Emerging Market Sovereign Bond funds, to be run by Barrineau, alongside an Emerging Market Corporate Bond fund for de Mello. These are the first EMD funds offered by the group for retail investors. The minimum investment for the 'A' share class is $1,000. The EM Bond will invest in local and hard currency sovereign and corporate bonds, and be benchmarked against a blend of the JPM GBI-EM Global Diversified and JPM CEMBI Broad Diversified indices.
