SIG hands best ideas mandates to Artemis' Steer

Skandia Investment Group (SIG) has awarded mandates on its UK Best Ideas and Global Best Ideas funds to Artemis' Global Growth manager Tim Steer.

Steer will run a mandate of £38m on Skandia Global Best Ideas and £24m on UK Best Ideas, taking over from Audrey Ryan at Kames Capital. Steer, who manages a long/short best ideas mandate within the Skandia UK Strategic Best Ideas fund, now accounts for 16.66% of UK Best Ideas and forms part of the 50% UK allocation on Global Best Ideas.
