Rambourg seeks new role after FSA drops action

Former Gartmore star Guillaume Rambourg is looking for another role in fund management following the FSA's decision not to take any formal disciplinary action against him.

Rambourg has announced he will not face any punishment from the FSA following a prolonged investigation into his trading activities. Last year it emerged Rambourg had been using a specific group of brokers to place trades, although there was never any evidence to suggest he did not get the best price possible. Rambourg was suspended by Gartmore when the investigation began in March but later re-instated as an analyst, before resigning in July 2010.
