Ex-Threadneedle manager to take over Bill Mott's Premier funds

Premier has hired former Threadneedle manager Chris White to take over three income funds from veteran Bill Mott.

Effective 17 November, White will run the Premier Income, Alpha Income and Monthly Income funds after Premier decided to bring management of the vehicles in-house. White, Threadneedle in February this year, managed a range of funds at Threadneedle including the Managed Income and Monthly Extra Income funds. He was previously a fund manager at Legg Mason, running the LMI UK Equity Income and Monthly Income Funds.
