BarCap strategist Tim Bond joins Odey

Tim Bond, the former head of global asset allocation at Barclays Capital, is joining Odey Asset Management.

Financial News reports Bond, who led asset allocation on Barclays' RADAR fund, will join the boutique after leaving the investment bank in July after 12 years. He will initially work as an investment strategist before running money, and is likely to launch a fund at a later date. Bond is best known as the principal author of the Barclays Equity Gilt Study. Bond told the paper he was attracted to the "incredibly good stock-picking skills" and strong analysis at Odey.
