Rob Burdett and Gary Potter will run the combined retail multi-manager business of Thames River and F&C, with Dean Cheeseman to head-up the institutional and Lifestyle range.
The reshuffle follows this morning's announcement F&C plans to acquire Thames River Capital in a deal worth up to £53.6m. Mike Warren, the investment director of Thames River, says the merger will enable Thames River's burgeoning multi-manager range to build up further momentum. "From the retail end it is really an exciting tie-up and will the strong distribution reach and push will enable us to set ambitious targets in the space," he says.
