Yerbury hands Invesco Perpetual CIO role to veteran Nick Mustoe

Invesco Perpetual has appointed industry veteran Nick Mustoe as its new chief investment officer, replacing Bob Yerbury.

Mustoe, the former CIO of Pictet Asset Management and Hermes Pensions Management, will take up his new role on 7 June. Yerbury will remain as portfolio manager across a number of the group’s funds and will also continue to work with CEO James Robertson in his role as a senior managing director of Invesco and as part of the Invesco Perpetual management team. Relinquishing the CIO responsibilities is the second stage in eventual retirement plans for Yerbury, who handed over the CEO role in 2008.
