Veritas Asset Management's Global Equity Income fund has taken in over £400m over the last 12 months as investor demand for dividend income outside the UK intensifies.
The first global equity income fund launched in the UK market, Veritas Global Equity Income has just celebrated its fifth anniversary and is fast approaching the £500m milestone. Co-managed by Veritas CEO Charles Richardson and Andy Headley, Global Equity Income (sterling) has returned 68.7% since inception, against a 43.6% rise for the MSCI World. The fund seeks to grow capital over UK CPI and generate an income in excess of 115% of the FTSE All Share yield.
