Maia founder Ralph joins St. James's Place as CIO

Former Maia Capital partner Chris Ralph has joined St. James's Place in the newly created position of CIO.

Ralph, who previously worked in the Fidelity multi-manager team, joins two new additions to the St. James's Place investment committee - Vivian Bazalgette and Peter Dunscombe. Bazalgette was previously the CIO at Prudential, following its takeover of M&G in 1999. He has also had roles at Gartmore and Mercury Asset Management. Dunscombe has spent the last decade as head of pension investments at the BBC Pension Trust. Both join in January 2010. The St. James's Place investment committee are responsible for the selection, monitoring and replacement of fund managers used by the group....
