Gartmore recruits John Bennett's team from GAM

Gartmore has poached John Bennett's three-strong European investment team from GAM to assist the manager when he joins the group in January.

Asim Rahman and Christian Billinger have been appointed as investment analysts while Eleanor Cameron will join as manager of dealing and operations. Bennett will be senior portfolio manager, European equities. The trio will report to Bennett and assist in the management of the European Selected Opportunities and Sicav Continental European funds.
