Jupiter has appointed Ben Surtees as manager of its Asian fund, replacing Philip Ehrmann.
Surtees, who joined the group's Asian desk in 2000, has managed Jupiter's Asia Pacific Sicav since 2005 and runs the Asia ex Japan segment of John Chatfeild-Roberts' Global Managed fund. He assumes control of the Asian vehicle from 1 September, leaving Ehrmann to focus on the £177m Jupiter China fund he launched in October 2006.
