The £688m New Star Property fund's conversion to a Nurs will see it form part of £4bn of retail money to become eligible for Isa investment later this month. Gordon Brown's pre-Budget report revealed non-Ucits retail schemes (Nurs) will be eligible for Isas, Peps and Child Trust Funds from 27 December. The bulk of recent property fund launches have been Nurs as it enables 100% to be held in the asset class.
