Awards dominated by closed-end big players

jpmorgan is leading it awards nominations

The largest players in the closed-ended world are dominating the shortlists for this year's Investment Week Investment Trust of the Year Awards. JPMorgan has seven of its trusts nominated in various categories, followed by Baillie Gifford, BFS, F&C and Hendersons all boasting three nods each. Questionnaires were sent out to nominees last week and are due back by 21 October. The judging panel has been expanded this year to include James Carthew, fund of funds manager with Progressive Asset Management and Kira Nickerson, editor of Investment Week.
