After a year at the helm of Aifa, director general Chris Cummings is continuing to drive the association's "Stakes in the Ground" initiative and is also calling for the FSA to produce a regulatory impact assessment for Treating Customers Fairly. Taking over from David Severn last June, Cummings has also called for greater unity in the adviser community on issues such as fairer funding of compensation schemes, warning that a divided industry could be forced to bear much of the burden.
