Shadow paymaster general, Stephen O'Brien MP, tabled an amendment to the Finance Bill on 13 May calling for the removal of section 76 1(a), the clause that allows for the ending of the Isa tax credit next April. The amendment, revealed by Investment Week on 5 May, is expected to be debated at the end of the Finance Committee's sitting, on 10 or 12 June.
