Several key FSA rules are stopping advisers from adopting platform-based business models, according to the UK Platform Group. Formed at the end of last year by Cofunds, FundsNetwork, Skandia, Selestia and Standard Life, the committee has submitted a paper to the FSA outlining the areas it feels should be addressed. In the paper, the group said the current product-led regime is outdated and acts as a drag on the market's ability to reshape itself in the interests of investors.
