Net retail sales in June were £448m, an increase of £181m on the same period last year, though net Isa sales almost halved and total net industry sales fell by more than two-thirds, figures from the IMA have revealed. June's net Isa sales totalled £61.8m, which compares to £120.9m in June 2004. This is also a considerable drop from May's figure of £114.8m though is not the lowest level of monthly sales so far this year: in January, they totalled just £38.9m.
