The Investment Management Association (IMA) has made the creation of a retirement Isa its key submission to the Department of Work and Pensions' pensions simplification review. The trade body is calling for an Isa-type product with investment flexibility that investors can take from job to job. Retirement Isa providers would be under no obligation to invest only in their own funds and would be able to offer a range of products from different suppliers.
