Iimia is to launch in the autumn two retail funds of funds (Fofs) which will invest in both open-ended and closed-ended funds. The group is looking to launch the two portfolios, Income and Balanced, in October or November and the manager has yet to be decided. Chief investment officer Nick Greenwood, has been ruled out of the running. Depending on a successful shareholder vote of acceptance for the group's proposed merger with Exeter, potential managers of the portfolios could be current Exeter managers Nick Brind or Richard Scott, both of whom will move across to Iimia as part of the ...
