Proposals on retail Fohfs are postponed until 2008
The FSA has postponed proposals allowing Funds of Alternative Investment Funds (Faifs) within the retail market until next year. The policy statement and final rules, due to be published at the end of 2007, have been delayed after the regulator identified a number of taxation issues during its consultation. HM Treasury is considering these issues in conjunction with the offshore funds regime, on which it issued a discussion paper in October.
