By James Thorneley Investment trust Isa sales for the first quarter of this year look to be double the Pep figure for the same period in 1999. The AITC is still collecting figures from its members but estimates total Isa sales at £100m for the period January to 5 April 2000, compared with £50m for Peps. This sharp increase in sales is being mirrored by the sales figures from two of the largest investment trust groups, Foreign & Colonial and Flemings.
