Activist Investor Knox D’Arcy plans to convert the Eaglet Investment Trust into a Directors Dealing vehicle. The transformed trust will invest in stocks where directors are buying their own shares, aiming to highlight trades likely to outperform the market. It will invest in UK listed stocks above £25m with a minimum of 40-60 holdings. The transformation follows the takeover of Eaglet’s board last year. As part of the changes, current manager Peter Webb of Unicorn was served protective notice and his contract is expected to be terminated.
