Alliance Trust has recruited Edward Troughton as head of distribution for Alliance Trust Asset Management. Troughton joins from BlackRock where he worked as managing director for institutional business development in the UK. Alliance Trust Chief Investment Officer Katherine Garret-Cox said “Troughton has repeatedly shown that he has the experience, creativity and drive to build and foster excellent relationships between asset managers and their clients,” she said.
