Barclays has launched a five-year protected Isa linked to the FTSE 100 and offering a minimum return of 10%.The Barclays Stocks & Shares Isa is open for both the 2005-06 and 2006-07 maxi Isa allowances, permitting an individual to invest up to £14,000. The maximum gain available from the plan is 55% of the FTSE’s growth in addition to the 10% minimum return.Barclays is aiming the product at the cash Isa market. According to its research some 80% of Isa investments have gone into cash in the last 12 months.For more details go to www.barclays-isa.co.uk
