Standard Life Investments is to manage a £140m mandate to run an active UK and overseas equity portfolio on behalf of trade union body UNISON. The mandate, which forms part of UNISON’s staff pension scheme, meets certain SRI criteria, avoiding investment in the tobacco and defence sectors and seeking active engagement opportunities within education and healthcare.
