Fidelity is changing the names on two of its funds, the Managed International and Japan Special Situations. The former, run by Brenda Reed will be renamed Fidelity Global Focus and the latter, managed by Jun Tano, will be called Japan Smaller Companies from 18 August. The aim is to better reflect the funds’ investment philosophy and processes, according to Fidelity. Managed International has historically been heavily biased towards UK and US and the name change will now reflect a truly global focused fund.
