Franklin Templeton’s imminent Middle East North Africa (MENA) fund will be headed up by Stephen Dover with support from Dubai-based asset management firm Algebra Capital. Dover is the group’s international CIO and also runs the Franklin India fund. The vehicle will have 40 to 60 holdings across a range of market caps, countries and sectors, with a maximum 40% exposure to any one country or sector.
