Co-founder of Thames River Jonathan Hughes-Morgan has returned to the market with start-up firm Occam Asset Management. He has recruited managers from F&C, Threadneedle and Lazards, who will head up long/short equity hedge funds, focusing on Asia, Europe and Japan, at the end of November. Asian manager Mark Williams joins from F&C, while Phil Cliff comes from Threadneedle. Jon Greenhill will run the Japanese team, joining from Lazard Asset Management.
