The fact the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit the 20,000 mark for the first time in its history shortly after his inauguration may owe something to the quirks of its calculation.  But that less idiosyncratic benchmarks, such as the S&P 500, have also set new records suggest a Trump administration is good news for equities.
