Butterfill backs PADA scheme

Leading Conservative MP Sir John Butterfill has given his party's backing to the personal accounts delivery authority.

Butterfill – who has been chairman of the Parliamentary Contributory Pension fund since 2001 – said the Tories would give PADA “as much support as it can” should it win the next general election. Speaking at the all party parliamentary group on insurance and financial services, of which he is joint-chairman, Butterfill said the Conservatives would help PADA achieve its aims.
