China will continue to benefit from greater world trade but the pace of globalisation will begin to slow from 2008, according to independent economist Douglas McWilliams In 1960, 11% of world GDP was traded and the figure will reach 28% by 2008, according to McWilliam's figures but from this growth will be more problematic, he claimed.
