Outlawing the use of upward-only rent reviews in property leases would have a negative impact on property investment values, according to the NAPF. The claim is part of a NAPF response to a consultation paper issued by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) in May, which is considering prohibiting the use of upward only rent review clauses on all commercial properties.
