Current economic climate takes its toll on Investment Trust of the Year Awards as property category is deemed too difficult to judge by panel

Market volatility has affected this year's judging for the IW Investment Trust of the Year Awards, with the panel opting to remove property as a category. The category proved difficult to judge in the past as direct and indirect portfolios are compared, but the panel felt it would be particularly hard to trust asset values against the current background.
