HSBC Asset Management has launched a six-year structured product offering 100% protection plus annual income. Linked to a basket of four indices, the FTSE 100, S&P 500, Nikkei 225 and Eurostoxx 50, the Capital & Income Plan offers a fixed income payment of 6.8% in the first year, after which the annual payment depends on the average growth of the basket. The variable income is based on performance of the indices from the strike date to each income payment, with the maximum rise or fall an index can contribute to the basket capped at plus or minus 6.8%.
