Barings has recruited a third person for its emerging markets team in the form of Insight’s Paul Wimborne. Wimbourne will leave his post as deputy fund manager on the Insight Asia Pacific Equity fund and join Barings as global emerging markets portfolio manager. At Insight Wimborne has deputised George Gosden on the Asia Pacific Equity fund. Wimborne will join in Autumn along with James Syme, head of global emerging markets and Siller as lead manager on the Baring EMEA Absolute Return fund.
