Standard Life’s wrap service is again the cause of speculation. Originally expected to be soft launched to select intermediaries at the end of January, there is talk that the firm is taking it slow to ensure that the service works properly. The group, which has outsourced some of the back-end technology to a New Zealand firm, is believed to be targeting an end of March date for full launch, but there are questions over whether Standard’s demutualisation plans may also lead to delays.
